The Club is delighted to be taking part in the 2021 East Anglian Game and Country Fair over the weekend of 25th and 26th September at Euston Estate near Thetford, just off the A11, only 30 minutes from Norwich near Elveden. Euston Hall, home to the Duke and Duchess of Grafton, provides a beautiful backdrop for the eagerly awaited resumption of this well established event. The Mid-Norfolk Gundog Club has taken part in the East Anglian Game and Country Fair from its beginning in 2004 and we are definitely looking forward to the 2021 Fair.

At our stand Club members will be available to advise on gundog training and handling and we have a comprehensive range of good quality training equipment for sale. Nearby we are running a range of scurries for dogs (and handlers) at all levels of experience, whether or not they are recognized gundog breeds. These retrieving competitions, against the clock, are fun for participants and spectators alike. We will also be providing Main Ring displays illustrating the work of Spaniels and Retrievers in a Shooting Day setting.

The Club will be running two Open standard Gundog Working Tests; an Individual Competition on Saturday and an Invitation Team Competition on Sunday. The competitions attract some of the best gundogs and handlers from across East Anglia and, Covid restrictions permitting, we hope to see at least one team from Europe. Please note the Individual GWT is restricted to 24 dogs, also the additional Covid-19 requirements for competitors contained in the Notes on the Schedule; the Schedule and Entry Form can be downloaded below:
